Let’s meet a small, furry animal called an otter. An otter is like a water-weasel. It has soft brown fur, short legs, and a long tail that helps it swim like a little torpedo.
Otters live near rivers, lakes, and even some oceans. They make cozy homes along the banks, called “holts,” with two doors—one on land and one under the water. That way, they can pop out quickly to play or hide.
The otter swims back up, floats on its back, and uses its tummy like a table while munching the fish.
Otters have pockets! Loose flaps of skin under their arms act like little bags to keep their favorite rocks. They use the rock to crack open clams or shellfish.
After eating, otters roll and slide in the mud or snow—like children on a playground—because sliding is just plain fun!
In today's drawing tutorial, we are going to learn how to draw a smart otter, who actually holds a fishing rod and manages to catch a fish, it's amazing!
