A Yukihira pot is a special Japanese pan that’s light, easy to hold, and perfect for cooking many things! Its name comes from Japan, and it’s sometimes called a "Japanese-style saucepan".
It’s made of light metal (like aluminum or stainless steel), so it’s easy to lift even when it’s full. It has two pouring mouths (one on each side) so you can pour soup or broth left-handed or right-handed without spilling!

The outside often has a bumpy, hammered texture that looks like little moon craters. This helps heat spread evenly and keeps bubbles from boiling over too fast. It usually has a long wooden handle that stays cool when you cook.
In Japanese, yukihira means “snow flat” — but nobody really knows why it’s called that! Maybe because it’s as smooth and useful as a snowy field for cooking magic! Now let's learn how to draw it!
