But one day, bad people from a secret organization made him drink a strange poison. The poison did not kill him, but it made his body shrink to the size of a 6-year-old boy!

To hide from the bad guys, Shinichi took a new name: Conan Edogawa. He got the name from two famous detective writers: Arthur Conan Doyle and Edogawa Rampo. He now lives with his friend Ran and helps her father, a not-so-smart detective, solve cases — secretly!

Conan has dark brown hair with a few strands sticking up on top. He wears a pair of big round glasses. He often wears a blue jacket, a red bow tie, and shorts.
