Imagine it's very, very late at night. The whole house is dark and quiet. Everyone is asleep.
Creak...
A door very slowly opens.
Standing in the doorway is a man. He is very tall. He is wearing a long, black cape that flows behind him like a shadow.
In his hand, he holds one single candle. The little flame flickers and dances, making spooky shadows jump on the walls.
This is a vampire.
He is very old and sleeps all day. That's why he comes out at night. He is very quiet, so he doesn't wake anyone up.
The candle helps him see in the dark. Maybe he is looking for a good book to read, or maybe he's just walking through his big, old castle.
He looks a little serious, but the soft candlelight makes him seem gentle. He just wants to enjoy the peaceful night. In today's drawing tutorial, we'll learn how to draw this elderly vampire. You can add him to your homemade Halloween cards!
